The keto frittata recipe we are about to share with you has a high nutritional value that makes it ideal for a low-carb breakfast. And it is made with eggs – which qualifies it as a low-carb superfood.
Before we get started on our frittata recipe and its preparation, we will advise that you get a cast iron pan or any other frying pan used for baking. If you can’t lay your hands on a cast-iron frying pan, you can make do with a quiche dish.

How do you make a keto frittata?
Step 1. Get your oven heated (preheat) to 180 degrees centigrade/Celsius or 355 Fahrenheit.
Step 2. Place the frying pan (preferably a cast iron pan) over high heat.
Step 3. Dice the bacon and add to the pan. Then sauté for four minutes before adding the butter.
Step 4. You now add your mushrooms and sauté for 3 to 4 minutes.
Step 5. Throw in the spinach and let them cook for two to three minutes. Let them cook until they begin to wilt, then turn off the heat.
Step 6. You can now sprinkle the cheddar over the sautéed ingredients.
Step 7. Get a clean mixing bowl, break some eggs into it and add cream, slag, and pepper. Then whisk the mixture until it’s well mixed.
Step 8. Pour the egg mixture from earlier into the pan and place it in the oven.
Step 9. Allow baking for 20 minutes (or when the egg no longer jiggles).
Step 10. When you are happy with your egg’s look and how it is baked, you can remove it from the oven, slice it into your desired pieces and serve.
The low-carb breakfast frittata we discussed above is enough for four serves. And it can be frozen or thawed before reheating (in the oven or microwave) for breakfast. And yes, you can make a larger batch of this low-carb breakfast keto frittata by adjusting the serving amounts.
