Ceri Marsh is the co-author of two value-packed, and wholesome cook books; The School Year Survival Cookbook and How to Feed a Family The Sweet Potato Chronicles Cookbook (we think everyone should have these books on their kitchen shelves or counter). Alongside Laura Keogh, Ceri has been creating healthy dinners and saving lots of families from the shackles of unhealthy eating habits borne out of busy routines and picky eaters. Ceri is also a strong advocate for getting kids involved in the cooking process, so they can develop a valuable relationship with food.
Given the quality of her work, it is almost had to believer that Ceri is a fashion magazine editor turned recipe creator extraordinaire. Living the glitzy and glamorous fashion life, filled with canapes and champagnes soon lost its appeal for Ceri when she got married and had her babies. As she became a mother, it dawned on her that eating fast foods and cereals on a regular was a no-no. She discovered healthy and delicious food and resolved to share with the vast majority of families struggling to eat healthy. And that was how the Sweet Potato Chronicles, a website and Cookbook was born.
The cookbooks chronicle over 100, healthy, easy-to-make, and fail-proof recipes for families who are having a hard time juggling a busy schedule with family meals. Loaded with meal preps, cooking strategies and processes, Ceri and Laura guarantee an eternal goodbye to rushed family dinners, incessant fast-food visits, unfinished meals by the “infamous” picky eaters and decaying groceries. Ceri is as amazing as her books and recipes and we couldn’t help but applaud her passion and drive for healthy eating. Want to learn more about healthy eating? Find out more on our blog!
