A picture means a thousand words.
This sentence could not be accurate. Pictures tell different emotions that words alone cannot describe. There is a way to preserve physical memories for years to come and it helps us capture some of the most precious moments. And for this reason, a complete picture can only be created with a perfect camera.
Canon people thought we should try out their new Canon EOS Rebel SL1, so they sent us one and gave us another one so we could have our competition and give one very lucky student theirs. (First, you should read and view our weekend photos of using it.)
Photo Perfect Camera
Let me present this post as I have a husband who is a photographer, so I am close to many cameras.
I’m still filming sometimes, and I’m shooting probably too much on my phone. I love photography, but I love sharing information even more, so sometimes I post posts that don’t have the best picture but get the point. So when I see blogs with the best pictures, I always think that maybe I should get a better camera.
This camera for me, at the end of the weekend, seemed so real: it was so easy I could throw it in my bag, it was so insignificant that I worry about it, and it was so easy to pull it off and hold moments, from world-class to food to life.
This was evident in a family weekend trip that had it all. Sightseeing, lobster dinner nights, wildlife, and family photos. It was a great way to test the camera and the effects were not short on photo-perfect.
About the Competition
Here is the deal, we want to see your special moments. Send us your favorite photos, or just one, and a title, and captions if you like. Give us your full name, and email address (we will do nothing about it but use it to contact you in this one contest). If you have a website that you want us to contact, give us that too.
Only send us the right photos when we publish them on our site, any image that we think is the most important will be the winner, but we will publish the right images, for months to come.
You must be 18 years old to enter this competition. This is not a Canon-sponsored competition. If you are the winner, but if you do not respond within 3 days of being notified, we must select another winner.
