Valentine’s day heralds love, compassion, and lots of gifts! So, I was thinking of the most thoughtful and memorable gift to send to loved ones and I came up with this ” send a hug” DIY. Though it is not groundbreaking, trailblazing or anything of that sort, I believe it is a fantastic gift idea and a super easy DIY. Why don’t I show you how easy and fun this is?
Have your kid lay down on a piece of paper and trace their hands and arms. Join the two sections where the torso falls and then cut it out. Write out endearing words of your choice like “Happy Valentines Grandma” and voila, you have the most thoughtful Valentine’s gift ever!
This is a wonderful gift cum craft to send to your uncles, aunts, Grandma, Grandpa, and to anyone that truly matters. It is a hug in the mail which is synonymous with a real-life hug. A big roll of IKEA paper works perfectly or you could use wrapping paper. There is nothing as sweet as seeing an adorable little one’s hand enshrouded in love.
Fun fact: your arm span equals your height and our DIY category on the blog is a delight waiting to be discovered!
