It is another time to bake and enjoy some cakes. However, the game is different this time around because it is Halloween. Halloween is that time of the year that comes with lots of fun. From the scary costumes and designs to eating a lot of candy, Halloween is a special moment.
Halloween is a different ball game for my family because I have two sons whose birthdays fall in Halloween time. So, every Halloween is like a double fun time for my family. We are planning to celebrate another year of my boys and we want to catch our routine Halloween fun too.
Well, we had a new twist in this last one. We made a lovely design for the cupcake which was a perfect combo of birthday and Halloween. We made some spider cupcakes. Making the design is way easier than you think.
Mix 5 to 8 tablespoons of milk with confectioners’ sugar. Add the milk gradually and check its level of thickness as you do. A thick frosting will coat the cupcake well and make the cupcakes yummier. You can add a little more milk if the frosting is too thick and more confectioners’ sugar if it is too runny.
Place some chocolate chips in a bowl and melt them with some simmering water. Put the melted chocolate in a paper cone. Add white frosting to the cupcake. You can use the paper cone to draw some chocolate patterns on it.
Get a toothpick and draw the web on the cupcakes. You can see what a real spider web looks like and follow it.
The truth is that making errors in such a situation is inevitable. The error makes the cupcakes Halloween-ish.
