Listening to music is one habit that seems to be most common among everybody. Regardless of the genre of music ( RNB, Hip-hop, blues, jazz), or the purpose of listening, such as for reading, lullabies, cleaning or just listening because you want to, there’s no denying the fact that we can’t go a day without having those rhythmic tunes played to us on repeat.
And as we know, there are a lot of ways to listen to music or any other type of audio track. You no longer have to tune the radio all day, waiting for your favorite track to be played. You can now listen to any of your favorite singers sing at the top of their lungs from the comfort of your room, and it’s all thanks to the various music storage forms, there’s one in particular that’s a classic.
Bringing Back The Classic Warmth Of The Vinyl Records
Long before the age of downloading your favorite tracks from the internet, music was enjoyed on a large disc. Not just any disc, we’re talking about the one and only Vinyl records. These flat discs, known for their grooves and needles mechanism, were the go-to source for your favorite tunes back in the 1900s.
Though not as much as before, they’re still in use these days and still boast of their warm sounds and adequate loudness, while providing that perfect surround sound for a calm, relaxing listen. They’re also a fan favorite for all the vintage tracks and a cherished item for families.
My husband bought this Casper record at a yard sale for a buck last summer and my kids are obsessed! The company was created in the 1940’s and it specialized in kids’ music and stories. Our Casper record is full of crazy over-dramatic witches, ghosts and monsters.
When the record is playing, my very active five year old twins sit silently until the record ends. I recently discovered that Peter Pan Records who produced Casper, also partnered with Marvel and DC comics—and my Spiderman, Superman and Incredible Hulk records are arriving from eBay tomorrow!
