Kids’ birthday parties are a time for merriment, fun, and creativity! Every parent wants to organize the best birthday yet for their kids which demands a considerable share of run-around and planning. We would give anything to see our babies happy even if it means bending over backward or a dozen back-breaking trips to the mall. Planning a kids’ birthday party, as simple as it sounds, is no walk in the park — especially where creativity is concerned.
We’ve seen different creative inventions and trends at different birthday parties — parents seem to be in an “unspoken” competition, with each birthday being more creative than the last. But at the end of the day, the collective goal is to birth loads of fun and quality time for the celebrant, their friends, and all the adults present. Speaking of kids’ birthday-oriented creativity, our friend, Emma wowed us all with this super clever idea at her daughter’s birthday.
Emma decided that plastic cups had no place in her daughter’s party, so she used wide mouth jars and plastered names on them with bright-colored duct tape. Okay, scratch that, she used brightly colored stickers as the “name labels” and wished she had used duct tapes instead— because the stickers were a challenge to peel/wash off. So, if you plan to tow Emma’s steps, remember to use colorful and practical duct tapes as opposed to bright colored stickers that prove hard to remove.
