One of my favorite parts of the holidays or getting gifts is usually revealing gifts. It is satisfying when you put a lot of thought into the gift package as a gift itself.
I received a box of chocolates as a gift for saying “thank you” the other day. It was easily and neatly wrapped with pink twine tags and hang tags. I found these empty hang tags with circular holes (the ones shown here use a star punch). As you can see, it was wrapped in a wide belt, rather than fully wrapped around the sides, which works if you have a nice box and do not worry about peeking at the sides.
And the simplicity of the gift-wrapping made me think. Too little is the mantra of the day, and you can jump into this trend by walking slowly by wrapping your gift, however fun it is. Another way to make flawless gifts fun is DIY. With the basic household items available, you can wrap or wrap something nice in a few minutes.
Here are three easy ways to make your gift wrap:
Simple paper folding can range from 0 to 100 with minimal adjustment. Keep your regular wrapping paper simple but updated by adding a touch of the hand paint, stencils, ribbons, sparkles, and extra art and accessories. You can draw, write and paint anything you want on paper and viola! You have a flexible gift wrap.
The beauty of boxing gifts lies in the many packaging styles available to you. So get those old shoes and jewelry boxes in a variety of colors, add melted crayons, paint, or other types of colorful designs, make a note, paste a flower, and much more.
From paper bags to chips bags, you can pack your junk food and snacks into a perfect gift for the century. For example, open your bag of potato chips inside out to reveal the metallic color of the bag. Then, wrap it around your gift and add a nice little ribbon for extra fun.
Now you know it. We cannot wait for you to share your knowledge by making your gift packages using these and other DIY methods.
