We all love a clean home, with clean rooms and clean spaces. But there’s always one particular spot or part of the house that never stays neat or always gets messy. And frankly speaking, we do have ourselves to blame for this.
That part of the house could be the closet drawers in the bedroom, filled up with different clothes that never get folded. Or the study table in the kids bedroom that always contains piled up books and study tools that are never put in place. It could even be the attic (most times it’s always the Attic). This is where every single item we can’t get rid of but don’t want around the house, get dumped waiting in line to be covered by dust.
We all have a landing space, be it a counter, a coffee table, where our life really happens. These places are always filled with keys, magazines, music speakers and usually, it’s a little messy. We just toss things here and there, only getting back to them when we need them again.
Recently we were at a friend’s house, who had this same kind of landing spot, but she had placed a bowl of dried rose buds in a pretty bowl, smack in the middle of it. It transformed the normally disoriented center table to a table with an oddly artistic appearance, making it look like an unconventional décor.
Somehow, putting something considered and purely decorative on a table with a lot of disparate objects pulled everything together. It made for a cool photo or selfie background, an artistic table if you would like and took away the guilt of leaving the table messy. (It’s super easy to find these rosebuds online.)
