If ever there was a hotel kids club that should be the new gold standard, it’s the one at the Rosewood Mayakoba. It’s so smartly designed–right next to the pool, beach, and restaurant, where mom and dad can pop in to see how the kids are doing, and then go back to finishing that article. Remember, many hotels kids clubs are relegated to some dark room way far away from the action. Parents have to schlep their kids to get there, and certainly wouldn’t be able to stop in, grab the kids, get lunch, and return them to the club, all within a 20 foot radius. The other thing that is magical here, is that the staff actually have great activities (pinata making was a hit), and they are the hotel’s babysitters as well, far more convenient than leaving them with a babysitter they’ve never seen before. What age kids would enjoy the kids’ club there? Beach and pools look great, and it would be terrific to dive while our daughter is entertained with other kids…
