When we were in London over Thanksgiving break, we had the privilege of having a kids tour with Context Travel, who cater tours for kids (and adults) in cities like London, Paris, New York, and several major cities in Italy. I can’t say enough good things about it—I tagged along on our daughter’s tour of the British Museum, and was so impressed with the guide’s way of leading her through it. Just enough history, lots of funny anecdotes, and pacing that was completely appropriate. We both thought it was one of the best parts of our trip.

We are heading to London in March with our 7 and 8 year children. Just curious, how old was your daughter when you went on the Context tour of the British Museum? I think it sounds like a great tour opportunity.

Yes it would be great for your kids–Clara was around 8–but they will customize it to the age and interest. Pilar used context travel with her kids when they were younger and loved it. Have a great trip and happy new year!
