Where do we stand on the kid mohawk? My husband and I debated this for a few minutes while buzzing our son’s head this summer. I erred on the side of don’t impose your Che Guevara political t-shirt leanings or mohawk tendencies on your kid. Would love to hear everyone else’s thoughts.

That’s pretty much what I always think when I see a kid with a “radical” haircut — that his parents are behind it. Kinda lame.
My 6 y.o. son surprised us by asking for a mohawk just recently. We showed him pictures of what they were and yet he still wanted it so that’s what my husband gave him when it was time to cut his hair. We were both uncomfortable with the idea but he loves it. No big deal really.
