Talk

duolingo

I just discovered the free language app called Duolingo, and am a little bit obsessed with it. (Okay, maybe a lot.) A friend of mine turned me onto it when I told her I was wanted to take French lessons. She does it, as does her 12 year old daughter, and her daughter’s friends. The lessons are great–you can do just 10 minutes a day–and because it talks to you, and you can talk to it, and it has enough variety–it doesn’t get boring. Then the social/competitive side of it–because you can follow your friends, you can see who is ranking where…and get very competitive, if you want.

(If any of you Duolingo, you can find me on Yolandaedw1.)
