Since this is the most brutal winter the East Coast has seen in decades, we have winter coats on the brain. We’ve basically been living in them nonstop, and are so SICK of our regular ones, that we all can’t stop looking for new ones. My husband thinks he has found The One–the Fjallraven Pak Down jacket. It’s lightweight, is long enough to cover your butt, has a hood, fits over blazers, and comes with a packable pouch. It is certainly more expensive than the jackets that look similar from Uniqlo, but we have owned those too, and they are more a layer, and they just aren’t that warm. The length also makes it seem just more put together, less like a weekend look.

Where is his bag from? I am so sick of my coat and just want to burn it.
I think the bag is orvis!
What a great find! I dashed over but the only size left is XL. Boo hoo.
Thank you for this post! I didn’t even know Fjallraven made outerwear — especially a down coat! — as well. (How I wish I saw this post sooner.)
Try calling the fjallraven store in my and see if they have…that’s where we got his…they just didn’t show it online…
