This summer a friend of ours had on the cutest dress, which I fell in love with, and had to try and find. It was by a designer I hadn’t heard of (because I never ever have a minute to go shopping) named Malene Birger. When I was trolling the web looking for the dress, or anything by this designer, I discovered the shopping site The Outnet, which is the discounted sister site to Net-a-Porter. I gotta say, it was actually fun scrolling through it—it feels well edited, like you’re in the sale section of Barney’s…not like in an outlet. Here were some of the things I was looking at (bear in mind I stick to navy and black most of the time—they do have a lot of colorful things)….and how about this ring—for $38?!
As for the logistics, it seems like the cheapest shipping (depends on your zip code) is $4.95, and you can have same day delivery, within a 3 hour time frame, for $25. If you want to return anything, they deduct $7.95.
(P.S. I never found the dress.)
That’s a great dress! I’ve always admired this line on the Lark Vancouver website, but haven’t purchased anything yet. This store in the UK appears to have the dress, but the sizing is limited: http://www.bodandted.co.uk/clothing-c3/dresses-c6/by-malene-birger-nagat-top-in-midnight-heaven-p1099
