Style

While I love the idea of having a cute summer sandal to wear on vacation—the truth is, if your time off involves a lot of exploring (and therefore walking), at the end of the day, you just need to feel comfortable. So, after some resistance and what feels like a million miles walked, I gave in and bought these shoes from Teva Naot. They are eco-friendly and handmade in Israel, and this exact style (the Ortal) is actually approved by the Israeli army for women to wear with their uniform–which says something about its comfort level. The style I have seems to be only available in Israel or here (trust me, worth the shipping charge), but I had my eye on this and this too (though that’s kind of it as far as cute options…)

Unfortunately the store in Israel only has a size 42, Zappos and Amazon do not carry the Ortal which is pictured. I am only interested in that one. Naot USA says the Ortal was discontinued.

Does this pair run true-to-size? I’m usually a 41 but would order that 42 if you told me your pair ran a bit small. :) Thanks!

Hi Sarah, it’s a close call!! I debated going one size larger, but stayed with my size and eventually the shoe stretched a bit to be perfect. Hope that helps!
