sweats

My friend’s little son currently refuses to wear anything with a proper waistband, he only wants what he affectionately calls “soft pants.” I can relate. While I have strict policies for myself about these things– I work from home and have firsthand experience on what a slippery slope stretchy pants can be– I bent the rules for this pair, which I just got from H&M for $19.99.  The pleat and skinny ankle details were too cute to resist, but only one pair. Okay, two.

I just got mine at H&M (their Division label).  Alas, they are not online, but you can find variations on the theme here and here.

Old Navy and Gap also have some which are basically sweats, but little fake pockets and ankle zippers make them “fancy sweats” and thereby rendering them acceptable in my book. Ha.

I can’t find the Gap ones online, but here’s the Old Navy ones.

I am wearing my soft pants today! They are camo and are great for morning drop off and a lazy work day at home. I got them at Nordstrom Rack. Everyone always asks me where I got them but I never confess that they also can double as jammies.

Ann, those sound fantastic! Do you know what brand they are? I wonder if they are still around anywhere? I have a huge soft spot for camo AND items that double duty as pjs!
