Leslie, the director of public relations for Alexander Wang, lives in Brooklyn with her husband Erik Ekroth (a Momfilter photographer) and their one year-old son Miles. We are inspired by the way she pulls herself together, even at the park on a weekend, and asked her how she does it.
“For me the key to feeling good (or at least presentable) while I hit the farmers’ market and playground is wearing my favorite basics, which is where I tend to invest the most. I’ll splurge on a tee shirt way before loading up on expensive trendy pieces in my wardrobe. I like to stock up on luxurious tees (T by Alexander Wang, The Row, Rick Owens) and casual leather jackets that pull an outfit together with little effort. And then for bottoms you can get away with tights, jeans and even sweat pants. Since having Miles, I no longer am able to devote the hours I used to at yoga class, so my new exercise regime takes the form of dancing endlessly to the Dan Zanes Channel on Pandora with my chubby baby on one hip. So comfort is key, but you should always look good!!
