I was given these espadrilles for a Mother’s Day present, and they’re the first pair of espadrilles I can actually wear, in comfort. Here’s why: they have a rubber sole added to the bottom, which gives a little more padding, but also means they won’t get ruined as fast. They also have a piece of cotton sewn into the inside, so your foot isn’t hitting the straw straight on. My husband found them at this shop called Les Toiles du Soleil, which has an online store, and they are $58. Yes, that’s above average, but the price per wear will more than even that out, because they’re so comfortable.

SOLUDOS! I don’t know about these above- but sounds liek the same situation of summer bliss for your feet.

http://www.soludos.com/ they range from $28-$40 and have tons of colors and patterns. i have the orange and red patterned ones and they match everything.

I wear mine everyday since i bought them a few months ago- and I agree that they are super comfortable. I think they are more durable and comfortable than Tom’s, not to mention Cheaper! I wish they made them for kids- I had then as a teenager back in the day.
Here’s the link with a great breakdown of the shoe: http://www.soludos.com/blog/our-shoe/
