Full disclosure, the impetus to go into a JCPenney’s recently was because of the Martha Stewart housewares lines that launches in May. I went to check out the changes that Ron Johnson & Co, the genius behind the Apple stores, had made to JCP. While things are still in transition, I was amazed to see how fresh and modern certain areas of the store looked. Check out how cute these stripes from Joe Fresh (pictured here) are. And everything is SUPER cheap. JCP’s own label was surprisingly great as well. Bright gingham button downs and skinny jeans are cute and also dirt cheap. I will be going back as the new retail boutique experiences unfold in upcoming months.
