Recently some very nice public relations people for a jeans company sent me some jeans to check out. They thought they would be a good fit for me. (You know, because they are jeans targeting women over 40.) Now something you should know about Momfilter is that we don’t write about something just because someone sends it to us. But here were these jeans, and I had to try them—after all, most of my jeans in my closet are at least 3 years old, and not fitting the way I like. (What if these were going to be my jeans savior?)
So I wore them, washed them, wore them…and next thing I knew…the sweet public relations woman started emailing me, all the time, asking me if I was going to write about them. But you see–I needed a picture to go with the post– and every time I thought about taking the picture of them, they were dirty, because…I was always wearing them. So, here is a completely honest unabashed plug for these jeans–which are called Jen7, of 7 For All Mankind. They are most definitely the most comfortable, flattering jeans I own. When I looked at their site to see what the deal was with the comfort–it turns out, it’s the top part of the jean–which is long–and holds everything in–that is the big part of their success. They also have just enough stretch to be super comfy, but also retain their shape.
P.S. I know this picture doesn’t do them justice–but I figured if you want to see them on a model shot by a good photographer, you can look at their site for that. My 11 year old shot me in these in the backyard.
