I am constantly on the prowl for the perfect pair of jeans. Levi’s is doing this new custom fitting where they measure and fit you based on your shape and not solely your size–apparently it’s all about the curve. I wandered into a Levi’s store the other day, reluctantly allowed myself to be measured by an 18 year old boy, skeptically tried on the recommended styles and left with a great and relatively inexpensive pair of jeans. You can also measure yourself at home and order.

I’ve always wondered why more women’s clothes aren’t sold this way. If you think about it, mens wear is sold off the rack in a much more specific way to each wearer than women’s clothing is. It always kind of irked me that my husband can walk into a store and buy a shirt that fits his neck thickness, arm length and chest width while I’m stuck with “S”, “M” or “L”. Finally someone figured out that our bodies aren’t the same either!
