Sites We Love

In that push and pull between technology that makes us more “efficient” and the old-fashioned way of doing things I am kind of torn. I adore email, but I really don’t think I’ve thanked you well unless I send a note via USPS. I love postcards. I embrace social media, and I write on a computer, yet I have a limited mobile phone and I keep my calendar on paper. My to-do lists seem to happen all over—on my computer (both word doc and email) and in a notebook and on scraps of paper.

You might conclude I have some trouble with organization. I don’t think I will argue you on that point.

Anyway, it’s no surprise that I found myself mesmerized by Bullet Journal. It’s an online tutorial, which offers smart ways to better organize your lists and life and schedule on paper.

Arguably, this is old school meets new school.

First, I went and purchased a new notebook (Moleskine with grid, pretty large and thin). Now, I have a bullet-esque list going at all times. My Bullet Journal list is my list of choice. And I keep checking off the boxes. It’s so satisfying.
