valentine's day marshmallows-10

For whatever reason, I always assumed marshmallows were way more complicated than they actually are. But I decided to give this Martha Stewart recipe a go, and it was a huge hit in our house—not only are marshmallows the perfect accompaniment to hot chocolate, but also as a fantastic gloomy-day project. And in case you’re wondering, homemade ones aren’t any healthier than the store-bought variety, they just taste a lot better. Once you’ve made the gooey mixture, spread it in a pan, and let it set, you cut the sheet into cubes, hearts (as shown below), or any shape you want. Note: Don’t worry about the sticky mess; it all washes off very easily with hot water.
