My husband’s family has a long-standing tradition of homemade felt stockings. A couple of years ago, my husband, his brother and my mother-in-law decided to carry on the tradition with our collective offspring. While they actually made the stockings themselves, felt templates (this year’s is particularly chic) and blanks you can buy are readily available. Almost everything you see on these stockings are felt pieces that were cut out freehand and glued on with fabric glue.

Love these! They have character. Do you know what material was used for spelling out the names?
