A reminder of a haircut gone awry

Fill a date-marked glass or plastic container (take-out, tupperware) with items like  photos, sea shells, a bag of sand from a memorable vacation, locks of hair from a big haircut, then have them choose a place to hide it and the date they’d like to open it. (New Year’s Day 2030?) You can fashion a time capsule out of anything, as long as it’s waterproof and airtight. We love old-fashioned jelly jars and even Ziploc bags in a pinch.

I am such a sap that I would be compromising the time capsule every year by looking into it. As it is I save every drawing they have made me and dated them.
