Kid DIY

Our friend Rachel had the cutest clutch the other night, which she told us her 9 year old daughter had made at a birthday party. It’s a duct tape clutch–which I didn’t realize was a thing–until I googled it, and found numerous instructional posts and videos on making them. I think the key is in having duct tape colors that you really like, and the rest is easy. It’s a good idea for a birthday activity since it can also be their take-home present.

Duct tape wallets are very popular with the middle school age boys in our area. Not to be out done, my elementry age boy spent a day at school designing and a weekend building a duct tape Iron Man suit. Really a great craft tool for the boys in your life.
