A couple of nights ago, I read Weezer Changes the World aloud to my four year-old. The ten year-old listened in because it’s one of his favorite books (and mine).
Weezer is just a dog until lightning strikes. From math to science to interior design to world peace, suddenly, he’s got the chops (oh, yes, pun most certainly intended) to change the world.
Cute little dog + great deeds = beloved international figure.
Until something else striking occurs.
I won’t spoiler the rest. But I will say this: anyone who cares about making the world a better place—or anyone who hearts dogs—will find this tale about a canine champion of the world a pretty dear read.
And if somehow you don’t know David McPhail’s books, check him out.
