Sign me up! Or rather, sign up my two boys (ages 8 and 10) who love pretty much all things Star Wars and have killed more than their share of fine trees folding and flying paper airplanes.  So when I saw this book, I didn’t hesitate to purchase. There are five copies of six different flyers, with bases, so two kids can even share a book (we did photocopy some pages to bolster the fleets however). My nephews will be getting a copy for sure.

On a side note: For some reason after buying this book in October, I squirreled it away for a rainy day. That day ended up to be Christmas Eve, which turned out to be a rare great move as the boys were merrily occupied for hours while my husband and I prepared food, cleaned a bit and secretly ate Christmas cookies. After many a non-Norman Rockwell Christmas Eve (loved Joslyn Taylor’s entry on a similar subject), I hope I will have as engaging an activity up my sleeve for next Christmas Eve.
