Gifts We Love

This is one of my favorite new baby gifts. It feels really special but it also has a shelf life beyond just a couple of months. The Ubugi is a traditional first kimono, which Japanese mothers used to make for newborn babies back in the old days. When the baby is born you can wrap the whole baby in it, but as the baby grows, it becomes a shirt, and can be worn up until the child is about two years old.  You can buy them from Tortoise General Store in California.
