Entertaining Them

tramp

Our friend Emma is an ardent researcher, so when she found this trampoline that’s small enough to fit in a Brooklyn backyard (it’s 7.5 feet in diameter), and she said it did well in reviews, we bought one too. Rain or shine, both of ours have served us well. We’re not going to get into all the things that can go wrong if you do have a trampoline, because either you’re someone who likes them or hates them. We’re just saying that if you’re looking for one, this is a perfect small one, that was easy enough to put together in an hour (provided you read the instructions and use the tool they send along to manage getting the springs to stretch.)

    My kids love trampolines.

I was just lamenting how the AAP came out against them (totally, like NO JUMPING, not, “Oh, if you wear a helmet/use one with a net/wear a magical amulet around your neck/etc. you will be fine.”) but I’m too chicken to get one and go fly right in the face of the peds.
