Granted, we live in Park Slope, where places like Textile Arts Center and capoeira are more plentiful than, say, places to buy a basketball. While my kids haven’t taken any classes at Taro Origami, I’m dying to take them there. The promise of order alone is like a mother’s dream–look at how organized those supplies are! They offer classes for both kids and adults and they do birthday parties on Saturdays and Sundays as well! The best part is, for $10 (for a half-hour session) you can drop in anytime from 11-6 on Tuesdays through Sundays. Located upstairs at 95 Seventh Avenue at the corner of Union. Right across from Seven Nails. Seems perfect for a small birthday party for a certain kind of kid.

What a great place! Perfect for a party…thanks!
I moved from the city to Connecticut a year ago. When I read this, I miss it so much! This place looks beautiful!
