I am big on afternoon tea, year round, but in the winter, I get even more into it. I don’t mean high tea with cookies and all that…I mean a nice loose leaf tea which requires some quasi-ceremony. It breaks up the weekend afternoon, and is a ritual we all look forward to. I make some kind of herbal tea for our daughter, and always something black for me (my favorite is this one). This Christmas, my husband gave me this tea infuser, which I’m really excited to use when it’s just me drinking.  And I’m in love with our Bodum glass tea pot when we are at least two. I can’t seem to find the same warmer as we have, but this warmer they offer now is pretty nice.

  1. I am a huge fan of tea drinking, especially in the winter!!

You guys should try elderberry tea (you can get the dried berries at places like Flower Power in NYC. It’s got an amazing, sweet, full flavor plus is one of the most effective natural immune system boosters out there (several major studies has shown Elderberry tea to be as effective as a flu shot if taken daily!)

    Happy sipping!
