At Home

Neither my husband nor I grew up in households where name cards were a part of a dinner party table. And while we aren’t into formal dinners, we are into anything that keeps our daughter Clara busy while we prep for guests.  We decided that having her make place cards for each guest usually buys us just enough time to set the table, do cheese platters, and open wine. Best of all, she decides where people sit so we don’t have to.
