At Home

A couch made of cheap outdoor sectional components.

We were loathe to drop a bundle on a sofa for our very tiny playroom/TV room. My husband came up with the brilliant idea of buying a trio of cheap sectional outdoor chairs that had gone on sale at Pottery Barn last year, and turning them into an extra long sofa that could accommodate the four of us for Friday night movie night. He took fabric to a seamstress who made a cushion cover for a down-wrapped foam cushion (something all seamstresses are equipped to do) as well as a bunch of pillows. He then connected the three chair frames together with brackets. It doubles as a guest bed in a pinch!

LOVE it! Did the seamstress make the down-wrapped cushion as well or did that come from Pottery Barn? Thanks!
